This photo, captured during the 2011 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, changed my life. I set up my Canon 1DS Mark III with a 17–40mm lens on a tripod at the bottom of Eau Rouge—one of the most legendary corners in motorsport. Shooting one-minute exposures back-to-back, I captured the streaks of headlights as the cars flew by. Then, unexpectedly, a fireworks show began on the opposite end of the circuit. The low clouds reflected the reds and blues of the fireworks across the night sky, blending perfectly with the racing light trails. The spot where I shot this no longer exists, making this image truly impossible to recreate. I still use the 17-40mm lens today for remote camera duties.
Cameras and Car Culture have always gone hand in hand. It's a sign of a good time when the two are combined. Together, they represent community, friendships, and a shared passion for the automobile. That’s the spirit behind this brand—I wanted to design something that not only showcases my photography, but also serves a purpose for enthusiasts like us.
Each hoodie features a clip that comes with a microfiber cloth that is conveniently tucked into the front pouch. It’s perfect for safely cleaning sunglasses, camera filters, or cell phones without scratching the glass—or ruining fabric from the knurling on lens filters like I’ve done too many times before.
