Life At Shutter Speed presents thousands of photos in vivid clarity and color, displayed in a stitch-bound hardcover measuring 14 × 11 inches for a stunning presentation. It spans the worlds of motorsport, rally and hillclimb racing, smoke-filled drifting and underground car culture that are synonymous with the author.
Inspired by his tireless mission to celebrate auto enthusiasts across the globe, as depicted in his YouTube series AutoFocus with Hoonigan and Capturing Car Culture with Hagerty, Life At Shutter Speed packs two decades of breathtaking thrills into a collector’s item that will elevate the bookshelf of any car nut.
Each book is signed by Larry Chen and carefully packed for shipping. We take each book out inspect them for damage since they got shipped from overseas, Larry signs them and then we put it back into the protective sleeve.
The books are then wrapped in a foam sheet, then the four corners are packed with styrofoam corners. Then everything is wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap, then it's put into a box. PLEASE be careful when opening the box and do not use a long blade as you may accidently cut the book. The package weights in at about 10 LBS and the book itself is 8 LBS so this is why the international rates are much higher. We apologize for that as we are a small oppertation shipping out of the Larry Chen shop in Los Angeles California.
